Due to unforeseen circumstances, the in-person and virtual components of our Iron Chef event have been cancelled this year.
Proceeds from the event have always been used to feed hungry families in Livingston County. In the wake of the pandemic, the need for emergency food resources in our own backyard remains high. Right now, an estimated 8.9% of children in Livingston County are experiencing food insecurity-but Gleaners is remaining on the frontlines, providing critical resources to those who need it most.
For that reason, our Iron Chef sponsors have stepped up in a big way to help us bridge the gap in funds that the event would have raised. Every dollar donated to the 2021 Iron Chef Match Challenge will be generously matched up to $16,000 by a group of local sponsors.
